Medical Director

Role Description The Medical Director is a part-time, remote role responsible for providing clinical oversight and medical expertise for content, programs, and initiatives that touch on health-related aspects of financial decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and advising on medically relevant content, ensuring information aligns with current clinical standards, and collaborating with internal teams to integrate accurate health perspectives into educational materials. The Medical Director will consult on topics where health, stress, and lifestyle intersect with financial wellbeing, offer guidance on risk communication, and support the development of any health-related policies or partnerships. This role also involves participating in virtual meetings, providing expert opinion on strategic initiatives, and documenting recommendations and medical rationales in a clear and accessible manner.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Medicine, with board certification or equivalent experience in a relevant specialty.
• Specialized knowledge in one or more areas such as Cardiology, Neurology, or Oncology to inform health-related content.
• Experience working with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Active medical license in good standing and familiarity with evidence-based guidelines and patient-centered care.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in accessible language.
• Comfort with digital collaboration tools and remote work; prior experience advising on educational content or public-facing materials is a plus.
• Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive health communication.
