Role Description The Medical District Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This position oversees sales activities within the assigned district, including managing relationships with hospitals, clinics, and surgeons, and driving adoption of Surgimed's medical devices. Daily responsibilities include leading and coaching the sales team, setting and monitoring sales targets, conducting market analysis, and identifying new business opportunities. The role also involves organizing product demonstrations, coordinating with marketing and clinical teams, and ensuring effective territory coverage and customer support. The Medical District Sales Manager is expected to maintain accurate sales reports, forecast demand, and ensure that sales practices align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in Medical Sales, with experience promoting medical devices or related healthcare products.
  • Proficiency in Sales and Sales Effectiveness, including pipeline management, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Demonstrated Sales Management capabilities, such as team leadership, performance coaching, and territory planning.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret market data, sales metrics, and customer feedback for decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and travel within the district as needed.
  • Familiarity with local healthcare systems and regulatory considerations; prior experience in the Cairo market is an advantage.
