We are a trusted recruitment partner working with healthcare organizations across the region. On behalf of a reputable medical facility based in Dubai, we are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their team. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Dubai.
About the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses that support accurate diagnosis and patient care. You will ensure laboratory procedures are conducted in compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure accuracy, quality control, and proper documentation of test results
- Follow laboratory safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Collect, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to laboratory testing
- Maintain laboratory records and reports in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
- Valid professional license or eligibility for licensure in Dubai (e.g., DHA)
- 25 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Experience using laboratory information systems (LIS) is an advantage
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus
