Key Responsibilities:
- Lead space programming and functional planning for healthcare facilities, including operating rooms (ORs), ICUs, imaging departments, clinics, inpatient units, and administrative offices.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, end-users, and project stakeholders to define project requirements and workflows.
- Develop conceptual layouts and ensure alignment with healthcare operational needs.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards such as NFPA 99, ADA, and JCIA.
- Participate in all design stages, from concept design through detailed design, construction documentation, and project handover.
- Review drawings, specifications, and design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support project teams in resolving planning and design-related issues during construction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, healthcare technologies, and planning best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Architecture, Healthcare Design, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree in architecture, Healthcare Planning, or Healthcare Administration (preferred).
- Additional certifications or training in healthcare design guidelines are an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare facility planning, hospital design, or medical architecture.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare planning principles and medical space programming.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (NFPA 99, ADA, JCIA).
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
