Role Description

The Medical Provider Support Specialist is an on-site role based in Nasr City, Cairo. The specialist will support healthcare providers during virtual consultations by assisting with accurate medical documentation, reviewing patient information, updating electronic medical records, and coordinating provider-related processes.

The role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and internal teams. The specialist will help ensure that medical information is accurately documented, organized, and aligned with established quality and compliance standards.

The position offers the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work setup after 3 months, based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support healthcare providers during virtual consultations.
  • Accurately document patient encounters, medical history, symptoms, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Review and organize medical information and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Assist with provider inquiries and clarify medical terminology or documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate follow-ups and support communication between providers and internal teams.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, process-driven healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Medicine and Pharmacy graduates only.
  • Strong foundation in medical terminology, clinical documentation, and treatment concepts.
  • Good understanding of general medicine and the ability to interpret medical information accurately.
  • Knowledge of medical specialities such as cardiology, neurology, and orthopaedics is an advantage.
  • English communication skills at B1 level or above.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with healthcare professionals and internal teams.
  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare support, medical documentation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or healthcare information systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Nasr City, Cairo.(Eligible for a hybrid work setup after 3 months, subject to performance and business requirements.)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
