Job Description

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively representing and promoting Boehringer Ingelheim core products to Health Care professionals ensuring their appropriate use and adherence to local regulatory and pharma code requirements through defining & executing sales account plans based on the local activity/expert engagement plan. The Medical Representative is accountable for maximizing the number of patients that receive Boehringer Ingelheim's products by creating added value to the key stakeholders.

The job holder will be based in Kuwait and will report directly to the District Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute an effective Sales Action Plan with the objective to build and sustain long-term customer partnerships with key accounts that create mutual value
  • Achieve sales and market share objectives and the annual target
  • Perform and report on competitive intelligence activities on key accounts
  • Orchestrate a customer centric engagement through collaboration with cross-functional and external stakeholders through prelaunch and launch activities, Audio Visual and CME meetings, etc
  • Develop and maintain relations with HCPs
  • Prepare periodical activity tracker and sales-related reports/objectives

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or any other relevant field
  • 2-3 years similar work experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience within cardio-metabolic therapy area is preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
