About Our Client
Our client is looking for a compassionate and organised Medical Secretary to support their medical team and assist patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Job Description
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable
- Answer and direct phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, providing reminders and necessary information
- Assist patients with completing forms and paperwork
- Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and efficient service
- Provide patients with information about procedures, treatments, and follow-up care
- Handle billing, invoicing, and insurance claims processing, helping patients understand their financial responsibilities
- Assist patients with accessing their medical records and navigating the healthcare system
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support patients and the medical office
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or in a similar administrative role, preferably within the Healthcare industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
