About the Role
We are seeking experienced MEP Cx Managers to lead and manage the commissioning process for our clients across diverse business sectors (including Data Centres). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning, coordinating, and delivering successful commissioning programs, while ensuring systems meet project specifications, performance requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full commissioning process for MEP and building systems
- Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules aligned with project milestones
- Review and approve test scripts, reports, and documentation to verify compliance
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to resolve technical issues
- Coordinate site inspections and witness functional performance testing
- Ensure commissioning activities meet contractual obligations, codes, and industry best practices
- Manage commissioning resources, including assigning tasks and mentoring junior engineers
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Support handover to operations teams with clear documentation and training
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience in building services, MEP systems, or Cx Management
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role is highly desirable
- Familiarity with online project management and handover software platforms
- Knowledge of commissioning standards, guidelines, and industry codes of practice
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Professional certifications (e.g. CSA, NEBB, BCA, ACG) are advantageous
