Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead and manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design function across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept through detailed design and construction support.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary MEP teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submittals.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, international codes, and project standards.
- Manage design schedules, resources, and budgets to meet project milestones.
- Resolve complex technical and coordination issues related to MEP systems.
- Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and construction teams to ensure constructability.
- Lead value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance checks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MEP engineers and design staff.
- Support project bids and proposals with technical input and design strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP design, with significant experience in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proven experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with BIM, design software, and international engineering standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
