MEP-Electrical and ICT Manger

Summary Description:

Responsible for all facets of electrical execution for the project, including

system coordination and integration of other specialists. Manage the

integration of interfaces and manage the performance of the MEP

Contractors and specialist ELV and ICT Sub-Contractors assigned to the project.

Indicative Requirements :

Minimum of 15 years experience with MEP best practices gained through a similar role.

Extensive experience with building systems and the management of utility stakeholders in Saudi Arabia.

Role and Responsibilities :

The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

a. Primary point of contact for the Senior Project Manager and the Senior Site

personnel on MEICA, MEP, ELV, and ICT ICT-related issues to ensure project requirements are incorporated into the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes.

b. Manage the implementation of the MEP strategy and procedures.

c.Prepare the MEP scope of interfaces for the Subcontractors.

d. Ensures that works are carried out in full compliance with all relevant codes and standards, safety management, and quality management systems.

e. Ensure that the works are integrated and fully coordinated.

f. Provides reports on the MEP systems status and progress as required by the project team.

g. Monitor and review MEP Contractors performance.

h. Chair regular progress meetings to an agreed format with the Contractors.

i. Review all MEP-related instructions from the Employer and advise on

time and cost impact.

j. Manages the MEP risk and advises Senior Management of the issues as and when they arise.

k. Establishes testing and commissioning procedures and schedules timely completion and handover of the project.

l. Demonstra Demonstrates the MEP systems to the Employer before project handover.

Essential Requirements:

Previous strong experience in the application of BIM in the design and construction process.

Qualifications:

a.Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering (Electrical).

b.Registration as a Professional Engineer and membership of a local body(or eligible for membership).

c.Have a high degree of understanding and practical usage of BIM in the construction process.

d.Ongoing contemporary coursework in MEP-related subjects.
