MEP Engineer - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

A reputable construction company is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to support the execution and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems on high-profile construction projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP works are delivered according to technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all MEP activities on site to ensure seamless integration with architectural and civil works.

• Review MEP designs, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.

• Support the planning and scheduling of MEP installations, ensuring work progresses according to project timelines.

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks on all MEP works, resolving technical issues and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for technical coordination and issue resolution.

• Monitor installation and commissioning of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical to ensure operational functionality.

• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation as required by the project team.

• Assist with material submittals, procurement schedules, and ensure timely delivery of MEP components.

• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in MEP engineering within large-scale construction projects.

• Strong understanding of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and project coordination tools.

• Familiar with Saudi building codes and authority approval processes.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Availability in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama is a plus.
