Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Inspection:
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for MEP systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, coordinating timely repairs.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP systems.
- Plan and execute corrective repairs to restore system functionality.
- System Upgrades and Improvements:
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades and improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with the team to implement approved upgrades and modifications.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that MEP systems comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff to achieve collective goals.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members as needed.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring quick and effective resolution of MEP system issues.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality and efficiency of MEP systems to meet operational requirements.
- Saudi National Only
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- Proven experience of 5+ years as an MEP Engineer, preferably in a facility management or maintenance setting.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and other MEP components.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using relevant engineering software and tools.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
