MEP Estimator

This is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for an MEP Estimator. The MEP Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with project teams to identify requirements, conducting cost and material analysis, and preparing detailed project bids. The role involves working closely with contractors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing, presenting estimates, and ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines.

• Strong skills in cost estimation, bid preparation, and project cost analysis
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and tools
• Understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
• Effective communication, negotiation, and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience as an MEP Estimator in construction or a related sector is highly preferred
