Role Summary:
MEP Executive oversees the designing ,planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in retail and F&B projects. This role ensures timely delivery of MEP projects, compliance with design standards, coordinating with different stakeholders like architects MEP contractors/ project managers and smooth coordination between consultants as well as internal teams. Also focus on Quality control , complying local standards and timely completion with minimal snags.
Responsibilities:
- Taking lead of MEP design from initial level till tendering issue stage.
- Creating Detailed designs ensure comply with local standards.
- Supervise and monitor MEP works across project sites to ensure alignment with design and quality standards.
- Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams to resolve design and execution issues.
- Review MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.
- Monitor project schedules and progress of MEP installations, ensuring work is completed on time.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in procurement and material approval processes related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management /project managers and MEP engineers.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination.
Requirements:
- 6 years of relevant experience in MEP works in construction retail & FB fit outs.
- HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing Systems Design
- Site Supervision & Quality Assurance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP
- Strong Knowledge of Local Authority Regulations (DEWA, SEWA, NFPA, etc.)
- Technical Submittal & Shop Drawing Review
- Project Coordination & Timeline Management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Project Management Tools
- Testing, Commissioning & Handover Procedures
