Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Fit Out Engineer to join our team in Cairo. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) fit-out activities throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures that all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all on-site MEP installation and fit out works.
- Oversee subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate effectively among mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to avoid conflicts and delays.
- Review, update, and coordinate MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Inspect completed works to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Evaluate building services installations to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering ,or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
- Proven experience supervising MEP works on-site, including subcontractor management.
- Solid background in MEP coordination and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and coordinating MEP drawings.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and compliance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in fit-out, construction, or facility management projects is an advantage.
