MEP Manager – UAE
We're hiring an experienced MEP Manager to join the Arena Modular team in UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities across modular construction projects, from design coordination and planning through to installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. You will ensure MEP systems are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage all MEP works across modular and prefabricated building projects.
- Review and coordinate MEP designs, layouts, specifications, and technical requirements with Design and Engineering teams.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee the installation of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure project milestones and quality standards are achieved.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and client specifications.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and certification activities to ensure systems are fully operational prior to handover.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, QA/QC procedures, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
- Work closely with Operations, Project Management, Procurement, and Commercial teams to maintain programme and budget objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and authorities while representing the MEP function during project meetings.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8-10 years of MEP experience, including at least 3-4 years in a management role.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end MEP delivery across construction projects.
- Proven ability to lead site teams, subcontractors, and commissioning activities.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools.
- GCC experience (UAE/KSA) is required.
- Experience within modular buildings, prefabricated construction, temporary structures, or related industries is highly desirable.
