Role Description:

The MEP Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for overseeing procurement activities related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and services. This role includes identifying and qualifying suppliers, requesting and analyzing quotations, and coordinating with engineering and project teams to ensure specifications, budgets, and timelines are met. The MEP Procurement Manager prepares and manages purchase orders, contracts, and procurement schedules, while monitoring supplier performance, deliveries, and quality compliance. The role involves negotiating commercial and contractual terms, optimizing costs, and maintaining accurate records and reports in line with company policies and industry standards. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and continuous market research to identify new vendors, materials, and value-engineering opportunities are key aspects of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong procurement and MEP-specific purchasing skills, including experience in sourcing materials, equipment, and services for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
  • Proficiency in supplier evaluation and vendor management, with the ability to assess technical capability, reliability, pricing, and compliance with company standards.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and administering purchase agreements and long-term contracts.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to compare bids, analyze cost breakdowns, and support value engineering and cost optimization decisions.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering ONLY is a MUST.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabian Market is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and industry standards, with experience in engineering or contracting environments preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical, commercial, and project delivery teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement software, and solid skills in MS Office (especially Excel) for tracking orders, budgets, and supplier performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Giza, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to company ethics, health and safety, and quality requirements.
