Overview
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong MEP Package / Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages on a flagship construction project in Riyadh. This is a high-profile development featuring ultra high-spec interiors, requiring exceptional coordination, precision, and quality control.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in technically demanding environments and has a proven track record managing MEP works on large-scale, design-intensive projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of MEP packages from procurement through installation, testing, and commissioning
- Manage specialist MEP subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract, programme, and quality standards
- Coordinate closely with design, architecture, and fit-out teams to integrate complex services within high-end interior environments
- Drive technical resolution of clashes and buildability challenges using BIM and site coordination processes
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively mitigate delays or risks
- Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure installation meets stringent project specifications and international standards
- Interface with client, consultants, and internal stakeholders, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and technical issues
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health & safety requirements and local regulations
- Lead commissioning strategy and ensure seamless handover of systems
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 10–15 years experience in MEP project delivery, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience working for a main contractor on large-scale construction or high-end fit-out projects
- Strong background in technically complex MEP systems (HVAC, BMS, specialist lighting, ELV, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-spec interior environments (hospitality, cultural, luxury retail, or similar)
- Excellent understanding of coordination processes, including BIM and clash detection workflows
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing subcontract packages
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Previous Middle East experience is advantageous
