• MEP Site & Technical Office Engineer - Team Leader

-Job Description:

• Oversee and manage all on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Lead and supervise the Technical Office team (Mechanical and Electrical Engineers).
• Review and approve designs, BOQs, and as-built drawings.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of comprehensive shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and low-current systems.
• Study Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and perform detailed material take-offs.
• Issue Material Submittals (MS), Request for Information (RFIs), Inspection Requests (IRs), and Purchase Requests (PRs), following up until vendor approval.
• Review subcontractor invoices, measure actual site work against quantity surveys, and assist with interim payment certificates
• Spearhead a dedicated team of engineers, providing expert guidance, fostering professional growth, and ensuring project milestones are met with precision.
• Review and coordinate technical calculations and system requirements related to HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical power, lighting, low-current systems, and other MEP services.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact, resolving complex engineering challenges and implementing innovative solutions on-site.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures and ensure all work complies with local and international engineering standards.
• Optimize resource allocation, manage project schedules, and monitor budgets to achieve maximum efficiency and project profitability.

-Job Requirements:

-A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering roles.

-Construction Background is a must.

-Strong command of fundamental Engineering principles, particularly within MEP, Mechanical Engineering.

-Having experience in Project Management, Site Supervision, and leading engineering teams to successful project delivery.

-In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with HVAC Systems, Fire fighting,Plumbing Systems and Electrical Systems (Light Current, Lighting, Power).

-Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
