Job Purpose:
To execute daily Merchandiser activities within the assigned route, achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and ensure product availability and excellent in-store execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned customers daily according to the approved route plan.
- Take accurate sales orders and enter them into the system.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Ensure product availability and prevent out-of-stock situations at customer locations.
- Implement approved promotions and merchandising activities.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers.
- Follow up on collections in coordination with the finance department as per company policies.
- Ensure compliance with pricing, discount, and credit policies.
- Submit daily and weekly sales and visit reports.
- Monitor competitors activities and provide market feedback.
- Maintain a professional company image in the market.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma minimum (Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices/sales systems (ERP, SAP).
- Valid driving license.
- Good knowledge of assigned sales territory.
