Job Title:Merchandising Specialist (Jewelry & Accessories)

Job Purpose : The Senior Merchandiser coordinates the merchandising team's day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent financial planning standards, data integrity, and team performance across the category portfolio. This role combines team leadership with active commercial execution, acting as the operational anchor for merchandising delivery during peak trading and planning cycles.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Merchandising Operations

• Coordinate daily merchandising activities across the team, ensuring planning standards are maintained
• Oversee OTB data accuracy, forecast file integrity, and reporting cadence across the team
• Act as first point of escalation for Merchandisers and Jr. Merchandisers on operational matters
• Own team merchandising calendars and ensure seasonal planning milestones are met
• Represent the merchandising team in cross-functional launch and planning coordination meetings

Financial Planning Oversight

• Review OTB plans and demand forecast files prepared by Merchandisers before escalation
• Ensure consistency of financial planning assumptions and modelling standards across the team
• Consolidate category-level OTB summaries for Merchandising Manager review
• Monitor intake actuals vs plan and coordinate team response to deviations

Inventory & Demand Coordination

• Oversee stock cover and allocation tracking across the team's category portfolio
• Coordinate replenishment priorities with Supply Chain across team-managed categories
• Lead weekly inventory health reviews with team members; drive corrective action planning
• Manage ageing stock reporting and coordinate Buying team response on clearance

Team Coaching & Development

• Provide daily coaching and structured performance feedback to Merchandisers and Jr. Merchandisers
• Onboard new team members and guide them through Floward's planning tools and processes
• Identify skill gaps within the team and escalate development needs to Merchandising Manager
• Foster a rigorous, data-disciplined team culture aligned to Floward's commercial standards

Performance Reporting & Trading Support

• Prepare consolidated weekly performance reports for Merchandising Manager review
• Coordinate team contribution to monthly trading reviews and forecasting forums
• Ensure trading actions, markdowns, reorders, promotional plans, are tracked and executed
• Produce structured exception reports highlighting category risks and inventory anomalies

Qualifications & Experience :

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field

Experience

5–8 years in merchandising including experience coordinating or leading a team

OTB management; team coordination; demand forecasting; structured reporting; BI tools
