We are looking for a Merchant Acquisition Specialist – Women Ecosystem to help us build the merchant and service-provider network behind HerWallet Cash.
This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, persuasive, organized, and passionate about building relationships with merchants, SMEs, women-led businesses, and lifestyle service providers.
Role Mission
The Merchant Acquisition Specialist will support the growth of HerWallet Cash by identifying, approaching, onboarding, and activating merchants across women-focused categories.
Your mission is to help bring real value to the platform by adding merchants, offers, services, and experiences that women can use in their everyday lives.
You will be part of building the commercial foundation of Egypt's first women-first connected ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach merchants, shops, service providers, SMEs, and women-led businesses that match the HerWallet Cash ecosystem.
Build merchant pipelines across key categories including:
Beauty & wellness
Women healthcare
Motherhood & baby
Bride zone
Education & learning
Women Bazaar
Women SMEs
Lifestyle services
Women communities
For Her Services — For Her, By Her
Present HerWallet Cash to merchants and explain the value of joining the platform.
Collect merchant data including business details, services, pricing, images, offers, location, contacts, and commercial terms.
Support merchant onboarding from first contact until activation.
Negotiate basic offers, discounts, packages, bundles, and promotional deals for HerWallet Cash users.
Follow up with merchants regularly to complete required documents, content, and activation steps.
Coordinate with the Product, Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships teams to make sure merchants are ready for launch.
Support launch campaigns by securing strong merchant offers and exclusive deals.
Build strong relationships with merchants and make sure they understand the HerWallet Cash vision.
Share market feedback, merchant insights, category gaps, and new opportunities with the team.
What We're Looking For
Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, business development, customer acquisition, partnerships, retail, e-commerce, fintech, lifestyle services, beauty, healthcare, education, or marketplace platforms.
Strong communication and persuasion skills.
Ability to approach business owners confidently and professionally.
Good follow-up and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple leads and merchant conversations at the same time.
Commercial mindset and ability to explain value clearly.
Interest in women-focused services, lifestyle, commerce, and digital products.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving pre-launch startup environment.
Ownership mindset, energy, and execution discipline.
