Mergers and Acquisitions Director

Job Purpose

Lead the company's M&A strategy and transactions, driving strategic growth through acquisitions, mergers, investments, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the M&A strategy and transaction pipeline.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize potential M&A opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end transactions, including valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and investment recommendations.
• Lead negotiations with shareholders, investors, targets, and advisors.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Strategy, HR, and other functions throughout transactions.
• Manage investment banks, legal advisors, consultants, and other external partners.
• Lead post-merger integration and monitor synergies and value creation.
• Prepare and present M&A proposals and recommendations to Executive Management and the Board.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development.
• Strong experience in M&A transactions, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiations.
• Strong strategic, financial, commercial, and leadership skills.
• Proven experience managing complex transactions and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
