Job Description

Experience

  • At least 4 years in the same file;
  • MUST be Exposed in Informatica EDC.

Qualifications

Metadata Management:

  • Develop and implement metadata management strategies and frameworks.
  • Maintain and enhance the metadata repository using Informatica EDC.
  • Ensure metadata is accurate, consistent, and easily accessible.

Informatica EDC Expertise

  • Leverage Informatica EDC to support metadata management initiatives.
  • Configure and maintain EDC to align with business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to users on EDC functionalities.

Data Cataloging And Lineage

  • Catalog data assets and establish data lineage within EDC.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of data sources, transformations, and usage.
  • Facilitate the stakeholders discovery of data assets.

Collaboration And Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with data stewards, data owners, and IT teams to ensure effective metadata

management.

  • Communicate metadata management practices and benefits to business users.
  • Foster a culture of data governance and metadata awareness.

Data Quality And Governance

  • Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and report on metadata quality metrics.
  • Identify and address metadata quality issues.

Compliance And Risk Management

  • Ensure metadata management practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct metadata-related risk assessments and audits.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies for metadata-related risks.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in metadata management.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to metadata management processes and tools.
  • Participate in metadata management community forums and events.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other Informatica products (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Informatica MDM).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with data architecture and data modeling concepts.
  • Project management skills and experience leading metadata management projects
