Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled MicroStrategy Developer with strong expertise in BI development, data modeling, and SQL. The role involves building scalable dashboards, optimizing performance, and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects
• Perform data modeling and schema design (Star/Snowflake)
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
• Build interactive dashboards using Power BI
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization
• Perform performance tuning across reports, SQL queries, and databases
• Troubleshoot issues related to reports, data pipelines, and performance
• Manage user roles, access control, and security setup
• Monitor and optimize MicroStrategy Intelligence Server performance
• Handle project migrations using Object Manager
• Manage report scheduling, subscriptions, and caching

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in MicroStrategy (Developer, Architect, Web)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server
• Experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visualization)
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts:
• ETL processes
• Fact & Dimension tables
• Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs)
• Strong experience in query optimization and performance tuning
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus
