Mid Mile Lead

Role Objectives

The Mid Mile lead will be responsible for overseeing a specific area ,category and tracking all branches within that category. Their main objectives are to ensure the timely and complete delivery of orders without any rejections, as well as to address any issues that may arise within their assigned category. Additionally, they are responsible for providing daily reports to the Dispatch Team Leader, keeping them informed of the operations and performance within their category.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end daily operations for 2–3 Mid Mile categories.

Plan transportation capacity and support fleet mapping to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Drive operational KPIs, including OTIF, Efficiency Rate, and Waste, through performance management and continuous improvement.

Lead the execution of the technology roadmap, driving process automation and operational innovation.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and achieve operational targets.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree.

5-6 years of experience in a similar position.

Understanding of dispatching procedures, including routing, scheduling, and tracking

Knowledge of relevant transportation regulations and compliance requirements

Familiarity with inventory management systems and software

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage dispatch operations for multiple branches effectively

Effective problem-solving skills to address issues and discrepancies promptly

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including dispatchers, warehouse staff, and FPs Staff

Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve efficiency

Adaptability to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
