Job Purpose
The Scrum Master plays a key role in facilitating Agile practices and ensuring smooth sprint execution for assigned squads working on Holouly's products. This role is responsible for monitoring sprint progress, removing blockers, and ensuring timely delivery of client project requirements.
Scrum Masters at Holouly act as servant leaders, enabling development squads to operate effectively while aligning sprint activities with client needs and product goals. The Scrum Master works closely with the Scrum Master Lead and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery across MDAWEM, Right Now, and ETEPS.
Job Responsibilities:
Agile Facilitation
- Organize and lead Agile ceremonies/activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives/reflections.
- Coach the squad in Agile values, principles, and best practices to ensure consistent delivery and continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
Sprint Execution & Monitoring
- Track and follow up on sprint progress and deliverables for assigned squads.
- Ensure that all team tasks are updated and tracked using tools such as Jira or other agile management platforms.
- Monitor sprint speed, identify deviations from sprint goals, and proactively escalate risks or delays to the Scrum Master Lead.
Client Project Alignment
- Ensure that each sprint's output is aligned with client project requirements and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with the Engagement and Technical teams to clarify scope, dependencies, and priorities.
- Maintain clear documentation of sprint commitments and ensure transparency with stakeholders.
Obstacles Resolution
- Identify and help remove blockers or obstacles that hinder squad performance.
- Serve as a point of coordination with the Scrum Master Lead and PMO to escalate unresolved issues.
Team Coordination & Communication
- Facilitate communication between technical, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment on sprint objectives.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration and proactive problem-solving within the squad.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date sprint artifacts including sprint backlogs, burn-down charts, and progress dashboards.
- Provide regular sprint status updates to the Scrum Master Lead and relevant stakeholders.
- Document lessons learned and improvement points from retrospectives and team reviews.
Job Specifications (Required Qualifications and Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in a Scrum Master role or Agile project coordination within a SaaS, tech, or software product environment.
- Proven track record of managing successful Agile teams or sprints in fast-paced environments.
- Experience working with multiple squads or product streams is a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification is required.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, software development life cycle (SDLC), and product delivery workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Confluence).
- Familiarity with DevOps, QA practices, and product release cycles.
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time and team management skills.
- Flexibility, Attention to detail, Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and have a client-first mindset

- Very Good Arabic and English preferred for communicating effectively with regional clients.
