Mid-Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable Spring Boot microservices.
• Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance REST APIs.
• Design MongoDB collections, document models, indexes, and queries.
• Build integrations with enterprise systems and external APIs.
• Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Implement proper exception handling, validation, logging, retries, timeouts, and idempotency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code.
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related frameworks.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Troubleshoot application, MongoDB, API, integration, and performance issues.
• Support deployments and production incident resolution.
• Work closely with architects, QA, DevOps, and frontend teams.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on Java 11/17+
• Strong Spring Boot development experience
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• REST API design and development
• Spring Data / Spring Data MongoDB
• Strong hands-on MongoDB
• MongoDB document/data modelling
• Git
• Docker
• Good understanding of Kubernetes
• API security

Requirements:
