About the Role

We are looking for a Middle Business Analyst with hands-on Quality Assurance experience to join our team.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product, development, and QA teams, translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements while helping ensure that delivered solutions meet both functional expectations and quality standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong Business Analysis skills with practical software testing experience, is comfortable working in Agile environments, and has a strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, challenges, and objectives.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Identify requirements gaps, dependencies, risks, and areas requiring further clarification.
• Analyse and model current and future business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide ongoing clarification and support to development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Review completed functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and QA documentation when required.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, report, and track defects through to resolution.
• Support UAT activities and communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project, requirements, and product documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of both business analysis and quality assurance practices.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software or technology environment.
• Previous hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Proven experience writing user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Practical experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project and defect-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
