Position: MIS Executive
Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Overview
We are seeking an organized and analytical MIS Executive to support financial and operational reporting. You'll gather data from various departments, maintain MIS dashboards, generate performance reports, and support account-related analysisleveraging strong Excel knowledge and accounting understanding to drive insights for business decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesMIS & Reporting
- Develop and automate daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports (e.g. sales, inventory, revenue trends, KPIs) using Excel and BI tools like Power BI or Qlik.
- Maintain and manage data sources and databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Build interactive dashboards to visualize business performance for senior leadership.
Accounting Support & Analysis
- Work alongside finance or accounts teams to interpret financial data and contribute to reports.
- Assist in baseline account analysis: aging reports, variance explanations, and budget vs actual tracking.
- Support preparation of periodic financial summaries for management review.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced): pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts, macros/VBA, Power Query/Power Pivot.
- Good working knowledge of accounting fundamentals (journal entry, reporting, basic analyses).
- Experience with database tools such as MS Access, SQL, or Power BI/Qlik for data handling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders or multiple departments.
- Good time management, ability to work under tight deadlines and handle adhoc analysis requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2 years experience in MIS, reporting, analytics, or MIS + finance support roles.
- Prior exposure to UAE/GCC markets or regional reporting standards is a plus.
Nice-to-Haves
- Certification or hands-on use of BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau).
- Basic knowledge of ERP/accounting platforms like SAP, Oracle.
- Experience working in sectors like real estate, retail, logistics, or finance.
