Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation Mixology
- Prepare and serve all cocktails, mocktails, and beverages according to Caf del Mar standards.
- Create innovative and seasonal signature drinks that complement the venue concept.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Conduct regular tasting sessions to maintain quality.
- Stay updated on international cocktail trends and techniques.
- Guest Service Experience
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Handle special requests and dietary considerations confidently.
- Promote cocktail specials and upselling premium brands when appropriate.
- Bar Operations
- Maintain full bar setup, stock levels, and miseenplace before and during service.
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and inventory of beverages and supplies.
- Report shortages or equipment issues promptly to the Bar Manager.
- Follow opening, operating, and closing checklists.
- Hygiene, Safety Compliance
- Ensure all beverages are prepared in adherence to HACCP and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tools, and equipment at all times.
- Follow all safety procedures related to alcohol handling and responsible service.
- Teamwork Communication
- Work closely with bartenders, barbacks, and service staff to ensure smooth bar operations.
- Participate in team training, tasting workshops, and briefings.
- Assist in training junior bartenders on recipes and techniques.
- Financial Cost Control
- Minimize wastage through proper measurement and beverage handling.
- Follow standard recipes to control beverage cost.
Support the Bar Manager in monthly inventory counts when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of bartending experience in hospitality or F B.
- Strong mixology skills and knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in beach club or outdoor hospitality settings is a strong advantage.
