Job Description

 Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of AI engineers, platform engineers, and product managers.
  • Set clear goals, mentor team members, and foster a culture focused on impact, collaboration, and rapid learning.
  • Implement agile processes prioritizing speed without compromising quality or security.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand AI safety challenges, innovation objectives, and safety requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable roadmaps aligned with their innovation cycles.
  • Oversee the development of tools and platforms for alignment assessments, adversarial testing, drift detection, and interpretability analysis.
  • Make informed build vs. buy decisions to optimize speed and integration with customers.
  • Champion engineering excellence by enforcing secure coding practices, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ensure system reliability with SLAs, SLOs, rigorous testing, and operational dashboards.
  • Continuously innovate AI safety methodologies by staying current with research and piloting emerging techniques.
