Position Overview 

A mobile apps developer at Optimum Info will be responsible for developing and publishing apps for the iOS and Android platforms, using hybrid technologies. A key element is active participation in product development right from product / feature conceptualization through elaboration, development, and deployment. You will also contribute to solution architectures involving mobility platforms and build integrations with third party service / solution providers. 

The position is based out of our Noida office, and compliance with our work-from-office policy is required.

As software development and validation technologies continue to evolve, it is expected that the software engineer will constantly research, identify and adopt the best tools and practices for ensuring high quality software product releases. 

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization's mobility products suite. 
• Collaborate with other teams (e.g., business analysts, software testers, other development teams) for continuous product enhancement and quality improvement initiatives. 
• Prepare and maintain functional and technical designs for apps associated with each product line. 
• Designing and building mobile applications for the iOS and Android platforms using the Ionic framework. 
• Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications. 
• Identifying and resolving potential problems, including information security issues and performance bottlenecks. 
• Collaborating with the QA team for testing the applications. 
• Fixing application bugs before the final release. 
• Publishing on App Store and Play Store, when approved for release. 

Desired qualifications and experience 

• A bachelor's degree in engineering with 3-5 years of experience with: 
• Software design and development, preferably in a product development environment. 
• Strong Knowledge of hybrid app development technologies i.e. Ionic, Angular, HTML5, CSS, SCSS, RxJs, TypeScript. 
• Experience using Cordova or Capacitor. 
• Experience with offline storage, performance tuning, memory optimization and secure coding practices. 
• Experience working with configuration management tools like Git, TFS/Azure DevOps etc. and CI/CD. 
• Experience with Postman, Xcode & Android Studio is desirable. 
• Ability to write maintainable code and work as part of a team. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent English language skills. 
• Alternatively, holders of other graduate degrees with demonstrable equivalent experience will also be considered
