Mobile App Test Automation Engineer – Android & iOS (Dubai - Onsite)

STATERA is looking for a Mobile App Test Automation Engineer for an on-site position in Dubai. You will build and maintain automated UI tests for Android and iOS, with a strong focus on visual consistency and reliable releases.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Android UI tests using Espresso and iOS UI tests using XCUITest.
Build robust, scalable, and maintainable test frameworks and automated test suites.
Implement and maintain Snapshot Testing to detect visual regressions.
Validate UI consistency across devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions.
Test dynamic content and complex user journeys; investigate rendering issues and test failures.
Review requirements early, identify test scenarios, and apply shift-left testing practices.
Define and monitor release quality gates and quality metrics.

Required experience

Strong hands-on experience with both Espresso and XCUITest.
Proven experience designing mobile UI automation frameworks and maintainable test suites.
Hands-on experience with Snapshot Testing and visual regression testing.
Good understanding of test design patterns, testability principles, and automation best practices.
Strong knowledge of the mobile application lifecycle and release processes.
Ability to diagnose failures and work with development teams to resolve them.

Location: Dubai, UAE — on-site.
