Mobile Application Developer

1957 Ventures is a Venture Capital and Venture Builder backed by Riyad Bank, focused on early-stage fintech in Saudi Arabia and MENA.

We work with founders from zero to one: validating ideas, building MVPs, and scaling fintech products. You'll join a small, hands-on team where you can actually influence what gets built and how.

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to build fast and secure a mobile app for one of our startups. You'll help define the mobile experience from day one and ship apps people actually want to use.

What you'll do

Build and maintain iOS and Android apps using React Native or Flutter.

Turn Figma/mockups into smooth, responsive UI that feels native.

Integrate with backend APIs and third-party services (payments, KYC, analytics, push).

Implement secure on-device storage (biometrics, PIN, keychain/secure storage).

Optimize app performance, startup time, and responsiveness.

Write clean, testable code and contribute to automated tests.

Monitor production apps (crashes, logs, analytics) and iterate based on real usage.

Requirements

What we're looking for

5+ years of professional mobile dev experience.

Strong experience with React Native or Flutter (Swift/Kotlin is a plus).

Solid understanding of state management, navigation, and offline-friendly patterns.

Comfortable integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and handling edge cases & failures.

Awareness of mobile security best practices (secure storage, cert pinning, basic hardening).

Experience with mobile CI/CD and app store / Play Store releases.

Bonus: fintech, banking, or payments experience or a strong interest in it.
