Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Development Lead to head mobile app development efforts across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable mobile solutions, driving technical excellence, and leading a high-performing team to deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mobile development using React Native across iOS and Android.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions.
- Enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and performance.
- Collaborate with design, backend, and AI teams to integrate innovative features.
- Guide the team through agile sprints, code reviews, and release cycles.
- Ensure app performance, offline capabilities, and smooth UX across devices.
- Work closely with engineering leadership to align with architecture and framework standards.
- Manage, mentor, and support a distributed mobile engineering team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 3 years with React Native.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern mobile architecture.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, React Native, and Expo.
- Experience with OTA updates, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile release management.
- Excellent understanding of mobile UX/UI and app store publishing requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing remote and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ability to report on progress and contribute to broader engineering strategy.
