Job Summary
The Mobility & IoT Solution Governance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective governance, operational reliability, and performance optimization of Mowasalat's mobility and IoT platforms. The role acts as a techno‑functional bridge between business users, operations, vendors, and IT, ensuring SLA compliance, strengthening vendor accountability, and promoting continuous service improvement. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, scalability, and governance of mobility systems across transport operations.
Main Responsibilities
Mobility & IoT Systems Oversight
- Oversee end‑to‑end performance of mobility platforms, IoT devices, and integrated third‑party systems such as AVL, FMS, CCTV, PIS, sensors, and command‑center integrations.
- Ensure system stability, scalability, and adherence to operational SLAs.
- Lead root‑cause analysis for recurring technical issues in collaboration with vendors and IT teams.
Vendor & Contract Governance
- Serve as the technical‑functional authority for vendor engagement and escalation.
- Support SLA enforcement, contract interpretation, penalty assessment, and scope clarification.
- Identify cost‑optimization opportunities across contracts, licenses, and service models.
- Support procurement activities including RFP development, technical evaluations, and bid assessments.
Techno‑Functional Bridging
- Translate business requirements into technically feasible actions and constraints.
- Communicate technical risks and dependencies in business terms.
- Ensure alignment between operational needs, solution design, and contractual commitments.
Cost & Value Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies, cost leakages, and under‑utilized assets.
- Recommend system rationalization and optimization strategies.
- Support financial and operational impact assessments for technology‑related decisions.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Define and enhance operational processes related to system support and vendor management.
- Develop governance dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and post‑implementation assessments.
Qualifications, Certificates & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in mobility systems, IoT platforms, or enterprise IT support/governance roles.
Certifications & Training
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
- IoT Fundamentals Certification (Cisco or equivalent).
