About the Role:
The Smart Mobility Solution Lead heads the Smart Mobility team and is responsible for defining the strategy, architecture, and delivery of advanced mobility solutions.
The role ensures all smart mobility initiativesITS, IoT, EV infrastructure, and digital mobility platformsare integrated, future-ready, and aligned with organizational goals.
This leader drives innovation, oversees major projects, and represents the department to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Smart Mobility department, including team development and performance
- Define mobility strategy, technology roadmap, and solution standards
- Oversee end-to-end design and integration of smart mobility systems (ITS, IoT, EV, MaaS)
- Manage major mobility projects, budgets, vendors, and technology partners
- Establish data, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements for mobility platforms
- Coordinate with government entities, operators, and internal leadership
- Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvements
- Drive adoption of emerging mobility technologies and innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred (Engineering, ICT, Mobility, Smart Cities)
- 1215+ years in smart mobility, ITS, IoT, or digital mobility solutions
- Arabic language proficiency preferred
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams or departments
- Strong background in solution architecture and system integration
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills
