Senior Boot ROM & Secure Firmware Engineer

Bangalore | 5 to 8 Years

We are hiring a Senior Boot ROM & Secure Firmware Engineer with proven experience in Boot ROM development across multiple silicon tape-outs and strong expertise in embedded security.

Key Skills

Strong Embedded C programming and low-level firmware development expertise
Hands-on experience with Boot ROM, Secure Boot, Root of Trust, and firmware authentication
Deep understanding of embedded hardware security, side-channel attacks, and countermeasures
Experience with cryptographic algorithms (AES, SHA, RSA, ECC) and hardware crypto accelerators
Strong knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and LIN interfaces
Expertise in interrupts, startup code, memory management, and hardware bring-up/debugging
Experience with ARM Cortex-M and/or RISC-V platforms
Familiarity with JTAG/SWD debugging, firmware validation, and test automation
Scripting skills in Python/Shell are a plus

What You'll Do

Develop and validate secure Boot ROM firmware for next-generation SoCs
Implement security features and crypto services
Drive silicon bring-up, debugging, and firmware validation
Collaborate with architecture, RTL, security, and validation teams through tape-out and productization
