Motor Claims Section Head

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Motor Claims Section Head to lead the daily operations of the Motor Insurance Department, ensure efficient claims handling, and maintain high standards of customer service, compliance, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise claims handlers, adjusters, and support staff to ensure fair and timely processing.
• Oversee administrative workflows, claim registrations, and reserve allocations
• Review complex or suspicious claims to prevent financial loss and mitigate risk
• Ensure all settlement align with company policy, regulatory frameworks, and customer service standards.

Key Requirements

• 5 to 7 years experience working within motor insurance or general insurance claims
• Analytic Skills: Strong ability to evaluate data, monitor loss ratio, and set accurate financial reserves
• Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): Maintain high survey scores regarding the empathy and speed of the claims process
• Closing Ratio: Ensure the number of closed claims meets or exceeds the number of incoming new claims monthly.
