About the job:
We're looking for an
MRP Supervisor to join the Product Planning & Replenishment team at
B.TECH.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing material planning and replenishment cycles to ensure the right products are available at the right time across B.TECH branches and online channels. You'll work closely with Sales , Supply Chain, and Merchandising teams to translate sales trends into accurate replenishment plans, maintain healthy stock levels, and minimize stockouts and overstock risks.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute the yearly requirement planning, staffing, product sourcing, fleet and warehousing needs to meet the AOP objectives
- Co-ordinate weekly & monthly plans and updates in co-ordination with different functions to maintain safety inventory levels
- Co-ordinate the ordering of all materials to ensure adequate supply to cover all needs
- Co-ordinate goods movement to distribution centers to maintain safety inventory levels across the system
- Develop and uphold SLAs with key product availability stakeholders
- Sets warehousing/logistics/Fleet performance standards and aligns organization
- Develops and leads cost productivity initiatives in warehousing & transportation
- Coaches and provides constant feedback for development and improved performance
- Leads problem solving activities for supply chain planning/warehousing/logistics operation; coaches on process improvement
- Co-ordinates warehouse resources across all facilities
- Ensure safe operating conditions exist throughout the warehousing operation. Promptly correct unsafe conditions
- Co-ordinate product sourcing within the business to ensure product availability in the right place, right time, right quantity and right quality
- Develop procedures to eliminate loss or damaged product in warehouse and during transportation
- Develop staffing and skill building plans for the warehousing/logistics operation that directly links to AOP objectives. Work closely with HR for effective implementation
- Responsible for the selection, on-boarding and recommending for termination of warehouse/logistics/Transport personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, planning, or inventory management roles.
- Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies and inventory control principles.
- Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
