Key responsibilities
Ensuring that the works assigned to him are executed safety and without risks for the health, quality and environment, both according to the customer's requirements and those of the company.
Reporting of defects to Tug/Multicat or their equipment to the Technical/ Logistics Department, the Project Manager and the Head office
Daily reporting to and consultation with the Marine Logistics Superintendent, the Project Team on the operational activities, more in particular on the progress of the works for which he is responsible.
Reporting of accidents or particular events as per standards.
Execution of the work in accordance with the local environmental prescriptions and regulations.
To take all necessary decision in order to carry out the work safely, with care for the environment and with quality according to the requirements
Responsible for the safety of vessel/multicat and safety of the crew on board.
Take a lead role in promoting safe practices and implementation of health & safety policies, particular when the Multicat in sailing/under way.
Liaise with radio team or any other responsible personnel with regards to weather and water conditions to ensure the safety of crew / Multicat at all times.
Ensure that all time vessel/multicat is in safe and seaworthy condition, keep update to date with routine maintenance, where required notify superintendent.
Assist in training of staff & volunteers to operator the vessel/Multicat.
Ensuring that Health and Hygiene conditions are up to the highest possible standards.
Implementing the Company's Safety & Environmental Protection Policy, and motivating everybody onboard towards its observance.
Requirement
A valid Master Mariner 500 GT and Below-STCW 78/95, recognised by State, national and international (White listed)

Fire Fighting & First Aid Qualification (Basic Safety Training Certificates) STCW Authority
Reporting accidents and non - conformities with the provisions of SMS
