Role Purpose
The Multimedia / Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining the visual identity of all learning and communication products. The role produces high-quality graphics, technical illustrations, animations, videos, simulations, and branded templates used across Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), and e-learning solutions.
This position ensures that all media outputs reflect the company's professional and technical brand standards, support business objectives through effective visual design, and comply with accessibility and usability best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visual assets including diagrams, icons, infographics, animations, UI mockups, and branded layouts
- Create accurate technical illustrations (electrical diagrams, automation architectures, process flows, etc.)
- Produce and edit videos using Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar tools
- Develop motion graphics and animations aligned with instructional goals
- Create interactive software simulations and hardware demonstrations using screen and video recordings
- Develop and edit audio elements embedded in multimedia content
- Build and maintain branded templates for ILT, VILT, job aids, and e-learning materials
- Ensure consistency in color palettes, typography, layout systems, and brand identity across all deliverables
- Collaborate closely with Instructional Designers (IDs) and Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) during project development
- Ensure all media assets meet quality, accessibility, and delivery timelines
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in graphic design or multimedia production
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, animation, and technical visualization skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere), Camtasia, and other animation/video editing tools
- Ability to accurately visualize and illustrate complex technical content
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles within learning experiences
- 3D modeling experience is preferred
