Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join our dynamic team in the UAE. Key Responsibilities
- Teach music theory, instrumental skills, and vocal training to students across assigned grade levels.
- Develop and implement a music curriculum aligned with national or international standards (e.g., British, American, IB).
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Organize school concerts, performances, and music-related events.
- Encourage and facilitate student participation in extracurricular music activities.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress in accordance with school policies.
- Maintain and manage music resources and equipment.
- Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to integrate music with other subjects where applicable.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification/license appropriate to the UAE (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
- Familiarity with curriculum frameworks such as British (IGCSE/A-Level), American (Common Core/AP), or IB is an advantage.
