As a National Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing relationships with Chinese customers operating in Egypt. Acting as the main commercial interface, you will drive business growth, build strategic partnerships, and translate customer needs into tailored logistics solutions across Kuehne+Nagel's global network.

This role gives you the opportunity to work at the intersection of international business, logistics, and cross-cultural collaboration, contributing directly to revenue growth and long-term customer success.

How you create impact

  • Develop and execute a China Desk sales strategy targeting Chinese companies operating in Egypt.
  • Build and manage a strong qualified sales pipeline, driving new business opportunities.
  • Identify, approach, and convert prospects across Air, Sea, Road, Customs, and Contract Logistics.
  • Act as a commercial bridge between KN Egypt and the KN China network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., General Managers, Supply Chain, Procurement).
  • Develop and manage account plans aligned with National Account Program standards.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, RFPs, and financial metrics, taking corrective actions where needed.
  • Ensure smooth handover to operations and maintain high service quality for customers.

What we would like you to bring

  • Proven experience in sales and business development within logistics or supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of logistics services (Air, Sea, Road, Customs, Contract Logistics).
  • Experience working with or managing Chinese customers or stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • High level of cultural awareness, especially in working with Chinese business environments.
  • Ability to build relationships and drive opportunities to closure.
  • Fluent Mandarin and advanced English skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
