Job Purpose
To lead and manage national parts sales operations across outlets with full responsibility for OEM parts and oil sales. The role is focused on achieving sales targets, maximizing profit, minimizing costs, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The position also includes team development, overseeing trader and fleet relationships, and coordinating pricing strategies with the Inventory Manager based on market benchmarks and customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
Sales & Profitability
- Drive national parts and lubricants sales performance to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue and gross profit.
- Strategically grow parts sales across counter, PSSR, trader, export, and fleet channels.
- Maximize profitability by reducing cost and improving operational efficiency.
- Lead development and execution of parts agreements for different customer categories including traders and fleet customers.
Team Leadership & Development
- Directly manage:
- Counter Sales Managers/Supervisors
- PSSR (Parts Sales and Service Representatives) Manager and Team
- Trader Supervisor/ Manger and Team
- Export Sales Team
- Identify training needs and ensure required training is delivered to enhance team competency and product knowledge.
- Set performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and support career development for the team.
Customer Satisfaction & Market Management
- Maintain strong relationships with traders, key fleet customers, and large accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI) through consistent service delivery and customer support.
- Oversee trader activities and ensure alignment with company policies and performance expectations.
Operational Excellence
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to manage parts pricing strategies based on market benchmarking and customer requirements.
- Support the service department with parts availability and campaign alignment.
- Oversee marketing activities and seasonal campaigns for OEM parts and lubricants.
Strategic Coordination & Reporting
- Provide detailed and accurate sales reporting, including trends, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Support strategic planning and contribute to national parts business development.
- Collaborate with finance, service, logistics, and marketing teams to align sales activities with broader business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 710 years experience in parts sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong background in OEM parts and oil sales; knowledge of local and export markets.
- Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, pricing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing multi-outlet operations and large cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in ERP, CRM, and sales reporting tools.
