NDT Multi Technician (Non-destructive Testing)

Designation :- NDT Multi Technician (Non-destructive Technician)

Reports to :- Operations Coordinator and Operations Lead

Job Objective :-

• To support the operation department with a designated NDT scope of work
• To maintain health and safety standards within the SSI HSEQ department

Key Responsibilities/Duties:-

1. *Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
2. Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
3. Carry out Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
4. *UT Weld Scanning with interpretation, evaluation, and reporting experience is required.
5. * Interpret and review inspection results to determine as per reference code/standards.
6. Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures, and work instructions.
7. Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports.
8. Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after completion
9. Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate workplace and surrounding premises.
10. Maintain the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements

Specialized Knowledge:-

1. *Oil & gas fields corrosion survey experience is required.
2. Experience in NDT equipment and familiar with manual, computerized reporting

Ability & Skills:-

• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal Mandatory requirement

Experience:-

• Minimum 3 Years work experience as a NDT Level 2 or approved equivalent
• Oil & gas fields corrosion survey experience is required.

Academic Qualifications:-

• Higher Secondary School educational qualification
• NDT Level II or approved equivalent
• PCN certificate Level II certificate is highly preferred
