Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rheumatology Consultant based in Jeddah. The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, devising treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing follow-up care. The consultant will also participate in medical research, quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring medical staff as required.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatologic disorders
  • Proficiency in conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests related to rheumatology
  • Strong ability to create and implement patient-centric treatment plans
  • Experience working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary medical team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff
  • Dedication to professional development, medical education, and participation in ongoing research projects
  • Possession of an MD or equivalent medical degree with specialization in Rheumatology
  • A valid license to practice as a consultant physician in Saudi Arabia or eligibility for licensure
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting, especially within a multicultural and dynamic healthcare environment, is highly advantageous
