Network Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Administrator / Engineer to manage, maintain, and secure our enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses on core routing and switching across next-generation firewalls, high-availability load balancing, web application security, and specialized security systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments across Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Implement, maintain, and optimize Load Balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions, specifically utilizing Array Networks.
• Administer and manage security solutions including Sandboxing, SIEM, and Endpoint Protection suites based on Fortinet and Symantec.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and alerts utilizing tools such as ITRS Opsview or similar enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Manage incident, problem, and service request lifecycles following the ITIL framework.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, including packet loss, latency, and connectivity outages.
• Document network configurations, topology diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change records.

Required Skills

• Mandatory hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching in multi-vendor NGFW environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Mandatory hands-on administration experience with Load Balancing and WAF platforms (Array Networks preferred).
• Working knowledge of enterprise security platforms, specifically SIEM, Sandboxing, and Symantec/Fortinet Endpoint Protection.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools (ITRS Opsview or equivalent) and ticketing systems.
• Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and standard service management processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and network diagnostic skills

Required Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience as a Network Administrator / Network Security Engineer.
• Proven track record implementing and managing Next-Generation Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate) and Array Networks ADC/WAF.
• Experience administering Fortinet and Symantec security suites in enterprise environments.
• Experience operating within ITIL-driven enterprise environments handling incident and change tickets

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant certifications are preferred: CCNA / CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4+, ITIL Foundation.
