About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator / Network Engineer to manage, support, and secure the factory's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across enterprise IT systems and production-connected environments, including IT and OT networks.
This role requires strong hands-on networking experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with exposure to switching, wireless, firewalls, SASE, secure remote access, network monitoring, and IT/OT segmentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure (Core, Distribution, Access layers).
- Support active and passive network components, including core switches, access switches, wireless access points, wireless controllers, firewalls, cabling, patch panels, and racks.
- Configure and manage VLANs, routing, and network segmentation (IT & OT zones).
- Maintain network redundancy and high availability (failover, link aggregation).
- Support and secure wireless infrastructure across plant areas.
- Support Cisco network platforms such as Catalyst switches, wireless infrastructure, and Catalyst Center / DNA Center where applicable.
- Manage VPN and secure remote access connectivity.
- Support SASE and secure access solutions to enable controlled connectivity for users, sites, and third parties.
- Monitor network performance and capacity using monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting SAP, MES, and production systems.
- Maintain firewall rules and network security controls.
- Support firewall platforms and network security solutions, preferably including Palo Alto and/or FortiGate technologies.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for implementation activities, support contracts, licensing, and troubleshooting escalations.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration backups.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and industrial networking standards.
- Support OT cybersecurity requirements, including secure segmentation, industrial network visibility, and monitoring tools such as Nozomi or similar platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in network administration or network engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, subnetting
- Core and access switch configuration, preferably Cisco Catalyst 9200/9500 or similar platforms
- Firewall administration, preferably Palo Alto and/or FortiGate
- VPN, ZTNA, SASE, and secure remote access concepts
- Network monitoring tools
- Wireless infrastructure administration, including access points and wireless controllers
- Network management platforms such as Cisco Catalyst Center / DNA Center
- Structured cabling standards
- High-availability network troubleshooting
- Understanding of IT/OT segmentation, industrial network security, and OT monitoring tools such as Nozomi or similar platforms
- Fluent English (spoken & written)

- CCNA (required)
- CCNP (preferred)
